The Level 2 Award in Fire Safety for Fire Marshals (RQF) qualification is designed to provide the underpinning knowledge for learners to operate safely in the workplace with regards to fire safety. It is aimed at staff who have recently been appointed, or who intend to be appointed to the role of Fire Marshal/Warden in the workplace.
Upon completion of this Fire Safety Course course, you will have passed the following units:
- Understand the hazards and risk associated with the fire in the workplace
- Know how to use a range of fire controls
- Understand the importance of a prompt and safe evacuation of the workplace
- Know how to support individuals during an evacuation
- Develop knowledge and understanding of how fire spreads and the behaviour of humans in the event of fire
- Understand the roles of the fire marshal in the workplace
On successful completion of this course, you will receive a Level 2 Award in Fire Safety for Fire Marshals (RQF) valid for 3 years.

Courses differ in length. When you browse each course the duration is shown in the course details. Online learning is typically the quickest method of training.
Absolutely yes, you can choose to take your training at a time and location of your choice and there is no additional cost as we work around your business needs. This applies to both In-house training and E-learning.
There are no minimum requirements and you can train as many delegates as you like with our online learning courses. For effective In-house training we recommend one trainer to 12 delegates. If you need say 30 people training all at once at your premises on a particular day we would simply supply two or more trainers
Our Fire Safety qualifications are available to those available to those over 14 years old.
As a part of the The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, organisations must provide adequate Fire Safety training to their employees at the time when they are first employed and on their being exposed to new or increased risks.
The training must include suitable and sufficient instruction and training on the appropriate precautions and actions to be taken by the employee in order to safeguard themselves and other relevant persons on the premises.
A fire safety risk assessment must be undertaken and kept up-to-date, which will inform the appropriate level of training required.
